Yes, women tourists can visit Chitral and Northern areas and most have visited all alone in the past. There is no record of any kind of misbehavior or any kind of untoward incident against any women traveler in this part of Northern Pakistan.

Islamabad International airport is the most convenient and the best one for flight to Chitral for foreigners. PIA operates a weekly flight from Islamabad to Chitral, it is cheapest, safe and short to reach Chitral.
